!!Inmates rescue baby locked in car!!

A few months ago, inmates helped rescue a 1-year-old baby that was accidentally locked in the car. This interesting situation happened in Florida, outside of the West Pasco Judicial Center. After accidentally forgetting the car keys in a sport vehicle, two parents called for help to try and get their baby out of the car. They informed deputies that they couldn't afford a locksmith.  One option was to break the side of the window. However, help from inmates - who were low risk non-violent offenders - were working outside the judicial area offered to come and help.

As the baby sat comfortable in her car seat, they decided to get to work. Weirdly enough, they were able to unlock the door using a coat hanger. They ended up prying the front door open long enough to insert the coat hanger as an attempt to push the electronic door lock open. This proved to be a success as the inmates and deputies cheered at the opening of the car door. Al in all, this took about two full minutes. Once the door was open, the parents checked on their daughter to ensure that everything was okay. They were glad and thankful that their daughter was okay and everything worked out smoothly.

The Mother of the child, Shadow Lantry, recorded the entire thing!
